About

Cratediggers is a weely radio show presented by Andrew Tait on Meridian FM.

Originally hailing from London, Andrew upped roots at an early age before eventually settling just outside East Grinstead, West Sussex. This is where he would gain his first experience behind the turntables at various local venues.

Andrew was heavily influenced by the London underground dance scene, in particular those deejays involved like Dr. Bob Jones, Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Patrick Forge and Paul 'Trouble' Anderson.

Shortly after leaving school, Andrew started pestering bars, clubs and pubs for deejay opportunities. His persistence paid off, he quickly started to gain recognition and performed at many of the areas popular hotspots, including a long standing residency at the prestigious Base Nightclub.

Since those early days, Andrew has been involved with countless events and projects along the way, some successful and some not so. However, what's clear is his commitment and passion for the music, which after twenty years remains stronger than ever.

Focusing on his love for soul, funk and jazz, Andrew recently became a presenter at his local radio station and now hosts a weekly specialist show.
